— our story —

How it began

A chance encounter
in a small café

We met on a rainy Tuesday in October — Diana was sketching in the corner of a quiet bookshop café, and Scott was hopelessly lost looking for a copy of a novel that had been out of print for years. He asked her if she knew the place. She didn't, but she stayed for another coffee.

Three years, two cities, and one very persistent cat later, we're so happy to invite you to celebrate with us. There will be flowers, there will be candlelight, and there will absolutely be too much cake.

Questions, Answered

What should I wear?

The dress code is "garden formal" — long dresses, light suits, earthy colors. Outdoor ceremony on grass, so flats or block heels are wise. Sunshine and warm evening expected.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Your invitation will say. If addressed to "[Your Name] & Guest" then yes — otherwise we kept things intimate.

Are children welcome?

Adults-only celebration, though babes in arms are welcome. We can recommend local sitters if needed.

When is the reply deadline?

Please reply by May 1st, 2027. The venue needs final headcount eight weeks out.

What's the weather like in England in July?

Expect mild summer weather — typically 18-24°C. We will have a marquee and plenty of warm drinks on hand just in case!

Dietary requirements?

All accommodated. Please mention when you reply.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We're asking for an unplugged ceremony — please leave phones away so we can all be fully present. Photos welcome during the reception.

Who do I contact with questions?

Email us at hello@dianaandscott.co.uk and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
